How it all started:
Alan was handling the refrigeration needs of a local ice cream manufacturing plant when he met John there in 2001. Eventually, Alan was hired in-house with the ice cream plant. Over the next 5 years, John and Alan worked together, starting their own business on the side, C & C Services, providing commercial and residential HVAC and air conditioning services. Eventually, Alan left the plant to run C & C Services full-time on his own, while John maintained his career at the plant, working part-time to assist Alan with the business side of their company.
John and Alan remember the tough times during the 2008-09 downturn in the economy where they sometimes went weeks without a paycheck to ensure their employees got theirs. Now, their company is thriving. They have 20+ employees, dozens of vendors, and hundreds of customers. When asked about the success of C & C Services, they reply, “We built this company on a few very simple philosophies - honesty, hard work, fair pricing, and PRIDE (People Reaching Inside Demanding Excellence).”
